We are pleased to offer this estate collection of early American country furniture, Civil War items, folk art, paintings, prints, and many more collectibles--all from local estate settlements and Maine homes.

HIGHLIGHTS include: "The Best" Maine country chair table in original paint and splayed legs to be uncovered after many years!!! Maine made yarn winder in original crusty paint made by Nicholas Varney, South China, Maine; great Maine eider decoy and more good decoys; Revolutionary War signed order by Jonathan Trumbull, 1777, for 150 lbs. of musket powder; collection of Civil War battlefield relics from a lifetime of digging through the fields; two (2) Civil War wool caps; Civil War escutcheon with eagle crest with written history of battles; 19th c. 2-door raised panel Kas; Pennsylvania walnut chest on chest with inlay; feather decorated wooden works Grandfather clock; several drawings, paintings, and Gruppe family ephemera from Emile, Paulo, and Karl Gruppe - photos, letters, scrapbooks, etc.; many good American folk art items; several ship models, and as always - plenty of fresh tray lots!
