Auction consists of Chinese jades, porcelains, enamel, paintings, furniture, snuff bottles and glass, as well as Japanese netsuke, ceramics, lacquerware, sword furniture, paintings, and prints.
Also included are several fine white jade covered vases, 18th- and 19th-Century jade writer’s coupes, jade mountains, many fine small jades and pendants, as well as archer’s rings and jewelry.
Porcelains include a fish-decorated double walled vase, a pair of fine famille noire trumpet vases, numerous 19th- and early 20th-Century pieces, a Ming garden seat, censer and other fine celadons, monochromes and blanc de chine examples.
Gilt bronzes include an important documented Wanli-marked figure of Buddha. Sale also features a 24” cloisonné enamel censer, numerous early enamel boxes and vases, three oil paintings by Cao Dali, and 18th- and 19th-Century paintings.
Snuff bottles include an interior-painted bottle by Yeh Chung-san, nephrite and jadeite bottles, and a nice selection of agate bottles.
Also: textiles, Korean blue and whites, overlay and imperial yellow glass pieces, netsuke by Minko, Shukoku, Rangetsu and others, fine tsuba, and ceramics, including Satsuma and Imari.
