American school landscape highlighting the view of a woman holding an infant with four children at her side in front of a residence on a wooded hillside with tall mountains in the background approx. 32” x 24”.

Oil on canvas. River in a mountain valley at summer dusk. Ross, signed in red lower right. 20” x 32”.


19th c. oil on canvas landscape unsigned. European school dusk summer view of a valley with a pasture and pond in the foreground, approximately 24” x 36” in molded giltwood frame which could be the original.

19th-c. Oil on canvas. Landscape of the Hudson River Valley school. A fine summer view of Hudson Highlands in the Catskill Mountains of New York State. Approximately 32” x 24”, the lake in the foreground extends to the distance accented with sailboats. Unsigned.
