Some of the art that we are showcasing is a market fresh portrait of Adolphe Thiers by Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres; a small framed European mid century landscape pastel on paper by Andre Derain (1888-1954); a portrait by John Singleton Copley of James Madison; an album of early photos by Edward Weston, photos taken when he was in college similar to those that were on display at the Getty Museum; a portrait by Winthrop Chandler; a portrait by George Romney; a New England landscape by Henry Shapleigh; a mesmerizing black and white large format mid century abstract by an Austrian artist; ancient Chinese Burial Scrolls, many Old Masters works from 16th through 19th C.; and great contemporary works.

We have beautiful museum grade antique & vintage furs. There is an authentic 1960s Jaguar fur coat & hat, a 2-piece set similar to attire worn by the cat woman in Batman, as well as similar to a coat on exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art by Marc Bohan for Christian Dior. Also offered up for auction is a Zebra Vest fashioned by Madame Louise Ltd, a 1920s Elsa Schiaparelli parasol similar to the one on display in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, an incredible Dayak Headhunter Shaman Crown with feathers, authentic Monkey Skull and Woven Box out of Borneo. There is a museum quality monumental Buddha Head Statue from a monastery in Burma, a lot of rare graded and ungraded antique US Currency featuring a very fine condition $500 note series of 1934 & Grade 35 $1000 note series of 1934. For Jewelry we are showcasing a men’s 1970s Rolex Submariner 5512, an Art Deco platinum filigree diamond ring, an 18 K gold Cartier diamond Eternity Band in the original box, a brand new Rolex Perpetual 41 mm with original box & papers, an 18 K gold Palmiero approx. 3.00 ctw of Pavé Diamond Penguin Necklace, an 18K gold Sylva & Cie Diamond & large green Beryl gemstone pendant.
