In 2024 Rick left his home for a bike ride and sadly an accident left him paralyzed. During surgery and rehabilitation he passed away. Rick was a true collector and never sold anything ever; he was not a dealer. Every single toy, bank, train, and more was collected by him in the last 45 years in Syracuse, NY. There are no reserves or minimums. Every single item will be sold to the highest bidder. There was not one item taken out of this collection at the request of his widow. She wanted these items to reflect his passion for what he enjoyed so much all of his life. It is heart-wrenching to see this happen to my friend Rick and an eye-opener; it could happen to any of us. He left his home, then never had a chance to come back home; everything we are finding is how he left it. This is a 2-day auction. Most of Rick’s items are being sold on the 20th of April.
