Provenance: The artist’s estate Frederick MacMonnies given to Frank MacMonnies (brother of the artist) by descent to the artists niece Joan MacMonnies Huber and Don L Huber acquired directly from the Don L Huber estate in Glen Head, New York. Two of the three paintings are unarchived works directly from the family's estate, never seen before. One work, the self portrait, is identified as example 62 in the book catalog raisonne.
