The candle mold on the right had 24 pewter tubes

The candle mold on the right had 24 pewter tubes in a pine and poplar frame that was stenciled "W. Humiston/ Maker/ Troy, New York/ Warranted/ Premium," $1375; the other candle mold had six pewter tubes in a walnut frame, and $1292.50 took it. The tin hanging candle box brought $247.50; the Ohio poplar blanket chest with curly panels, $330; and the Ohio three-gallon jug, impressed mark "H. Purdy" highlighted in cobalt, $220.
