Like the Provincetown, Massachusetts, woodblock artists, Paul Jacoulet sent hand-printed Christmas cards; all except two are subjects that appeared on his larger prints. The 15 sold at this auction bought between $110 and $396 for Orchidées Blanches. Jaluit (not shown); it appeared exclusively as a Christmas card. Pictured (clockwise from upper left) are Les Jades: Mandchoukuo at $165, Fleurs du Soir (Truck) at $220, Longévité at $220, and Nuit de Neige: Corée at $330. Robert C.
