Between 1929 and 1936, Paul Jacoulet escaped harsh winters by traveling to the South Pacific. His woodblocks of life there constitute a subcategory of Paul Jacoulet prints. Richard Miles said he bought some of these at the auction, and I noticed that another was purchased by a collector from Hawaii. This 1949 work, entitled Dans la Nature.
