These pie crimpers drew aggressive bids. The example on top was fashioned from ivory with a baleen spacer. Finely carved details include jagging wheel with star center, wheel holder in form of a stylized bird, and lines similar to inlay throughout the handle. It sold for a sizzling $2475.
